Simon Mellor – Chief Executive Officer

Simon joined Airtech in 1992 as CTO, where he developed a range of basestation and coverage enhancement equipment. After working in the US for 3 years supporting US OEMs, he returned to the UK and became head of Global Business Development and then European Sales for REMEC. In those roles he achieved significant growth in multiple OEM accounts. In 2005 Simon set up Axis Network Technology which was acquired by Ace Technology in May 2010 and renamed AceAxis Ltd.

Steve Cooper – Chief Technology Officer

Steve worked in GSM BTS Development at Motorola from 1993-1996, then in 1996-97 he was involved in deploying the US CDMA Network for Sprint PCS in California. He then managed Lucent’s Digital Radio Team for GSM, CDMA and UMTS BTS during 1997-2003. In 2003 he joined REMEC as VP Engineering to lead the development of a remote radio head opportunity, before leaving in 2005 to set up Axis Network Technology. As Axis COO and CTO, Steve led the operations and product development of Axis, resulting in Axis growing to become the number one supplier of WiMAX and TD-LTE RRHs to OEMs. In May 2010 Axis Network Technology was acquired by Ace Technology and renamed AceAxis Ltd.

Andy Crawford – Chief Financial Officer

Andy joined Axis as Finance Director in June 2009. A Chartered Management Accountant, Andy has 25 years accountancy experience gained with various sized organizations including BP Amoco, ICI, and (in the telecommunications Industry) REMEC where he worked with other members of the Executive Team

Jeffrey Um – Sales Director

Jeffrey joined AceAxis as Sales Director from Ace Technology following its acquisition of Axis Network Technology in May 2010. Prior to this transfer he had worked for Ace Technology for 12 years where he managed the sales and marketing team and handled the key accounts of global OEMs.

Michel Vieuxmaire – Commercial Director

Michel has over 15 years experience in the wireless market with operators and OEMs, and since joining Axis NT in 2007 has been driving worldwide sales within key accounts and channel partners. Prior to joining Axis NT he was at Axxcelera Inc, a US based WiMAX OEM, and was previously VP of Sales with REMEC Asia based in Shanghai, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Stuart Cumming – Director, Program Management

Stuart joined Axis NT in March 2008. Prior to this he had worked for Lucent for 17 years where he managed R&D; projects including the development of multi-site UMTS and CDMA base stations, radio, channel card and remote radio head products and liaising with external EMS vendors. In his early career Stuart also worked in design, engineering & Manufacturing positions with AT&T;, Marconi Microsystems and Square D Ltd.

Jeremy Rowe – Engineering Director

Jeremy joined STL Harlow in 1982 as a research engineer working on fibre optics and Access Networks. Subsequent roles included PA Consulting, where he focused on Wireless Local Loop systems and Passive Optical Networks; Fujitsu Telecom R&D;, as manager of the Access Technology team (Wireless, xDSL and Optical systems); and from 1997 at Airspan Networks in various roles, including Director of Marketing and Product Management, and VP Engineering. At Airspan, Jeremy's team was responsible for design & development of three generations of Broadband Wireless systems, including the world's first certified WiMAX system. After leaving Airspan, Jeremy undertook projects for Fujitsu, Picochip and UK Broadband. He joined AceAxis in July 2010. Jeremy has an Engineering degree from Cambridge University

Eric Hasell – Director of Development Operations

Eric joined AceAxis from Ace Wireless Technologies Ltd, in April 2011. Eric's career with STC/Nortel covered over thirty years, starting as an indentured Apprentice in STC Ltd and moving onto many design, development and management roles across several divisions and sites. In that time he introduced many varied Telecoms product into Nortel and OEM's across many parts of the world. His last role in Nortel was as New Product Introduction Manager for Carrier Networks. The WTL team was acquired by Ace Technology in March 2010 from Nortel Networks.

Byoungnam Kim – Non-Executive Director

Byoungnam Kim has more than 10 years experience in the communications technology industry. Prior to joining the Ace Technology Corporation, he was the senior engineer at Pantech where he designed handset antenna and systems. Byoungnam holds a Ph.D. in electronics engineering from the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

Myong-Hak Kim – Non-Executive Director

Myong-Hak Kim is an experienced planning professional with over 25 years experience in the field. Previous to working with Ace Technology Corporation, he was a manager of Samsung Lions and Samsung S1 where he spent 13 years in the planning department. He has been responsible for leading international sales and marketing since joined ACE in 2003. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Sogang University.
