Atlas 2x2 MIMO High Performance Remote Radio Head

The latest generation of Atlas 2x2 MIMO Remote Radio heads from AceAxis are available in WiMAX, TD-LTE and FD-LTE applications. These software definable 2 Channel Remote Radio Heads can be remotely upgraded and perform all the digital transceiver functions between the baseband IQ interface and the analogue RF front end.

The software definable platform is a multimode, multiband, digital radio for OEM applications delivering optimal cost, lowest power consumption and smallest size. The Atlas 2x2 MIMO (2 x 20W) RRH combines improved functionality with significantly lower costs giving class leading value. It employs a flexible architecture for TDD or FDD applications using OFDMA, CDMA and TDMA technologies.

Reliability is built into all AceAxis products with our Atlas RRH running higher thermal efficiencies and providing world class MTBF. The latest 2x2 also features our unique coplanar compact cableless interconnect which minimises RRH volume. In addition to multiband and multicarrier capabilities the 2x2 features a 12 Gbps total fibre capacity. All Atlas RRH include our Front End Module (FEM) combined high power transmit PA and low noise receiver LNA.

The flexible platform solution has sufficient FPGA/PowerPC processing capacity and hardware interfaces to allow customer defined algorithms to be implemented. AceAxis can customise and/or license algorithms for:
